In My Heart

There's a little corner in my heart
For the friends of long ago
For the fairy dreams I dreamed,
And the castles I built you know;
And the something I longed to be
But it's only a little corner
Where no one goes but me.

There's a little corner in my heart
Where I cannot let you in,
It's only a little sacred spot
Where my dream of life began;
But the threads are tangled as they can be
And it's only a little corner
Where no one goes but me.

Where no one goes but me,
Where none but God can see.
